Net Neutrality might be the most important issue that would have an affect on your every day life. Its removal/overturning it would allow ISPs to charge the user for access to sites like google or facebook as well as heavy limit the amount of data you can download. This is currently what cellphone providers do. Another possibility is that they could charge big companies like amazon a fee, and then amazon "data throughput" would be placed on higher priority than other sites like ebay. In this scenario 5000 users go to amazon and ebay at the same time using different browser tabs. Amazon would load faster as it would have higher priority. It would need to serve that data to all 5000 users before it will send the ebay data. This leads to the possibility that during heavy loads, ebay would time out, even though the ebay servers are running great. more here

Tonight i completed a major step, the hardest step i believe, in a project ive been working hard on for the last year and a half. Yes, you heard correctly, a year and a half.

The hardest part is that it was almost pure security work. I had to make sure EVERY expect of EVERY part of the project was tightly closed to any possible security hole. It had to be completed right the first time, no bugs, no holes, no user interface issues, working perfectly. I also had to make it hyper streamlined, using minimal system resources and processing power.

Its a high security bi-directional game to website API that communicates between objects in Secondlife and a website. The object will fully control aspects inside the game both automatically and remotely. The website will be a service for sim owners to greatly simplify their life, as well as patrons to that sim too.

There are 5 steps total, the remaining 4 steps will be considerably less work than the first. Im hoping to get this project completed by the end of the year.

When completed i am highly positive this project will bring in enough cash flow for me to start on my next MEGA project involving electronics and ideas.

I just saw this ad on TV while watching how to survive disasters. From the first moment it started i was entranced. Its been awhile since an ad has been able to do that to me and its usually a movie trailer that does. All i can say, is the is the best ad ive seen from MS ever. I always thought they were better as a gaming company. Rock on.

This is a shot out to all of you out there. I would like you to leave a comment and tell me about your passion, the single strongest thing that motivates you.


Ill start off.
It has taken a long time to hone down into a simple explanation of what my passion is. It was only last year that i decided to become an inventor, and keep that as my main title. Looking at things ive done i saw over and over that i have to build things from scratch in new ways, and that i cant survive in a job place where my creativity is limited. I actually got to build a boat made of wood planks and fiberglass, and then test it in the local swimming pool in high school. I took apart a TV set i found in a junk yard and repaired it to working condition when i was just a kit. Ever since i got my first 386 SX 4-100 ive been the go-to fox for my families tech support. When i started college i took preliminary classes chasing a developer certificate, i interrupted the teacher so many times in CIS 101 that the dean of NSCC asked me to teach the class myself. I moved on into Visual Basic 6, Programming for the PS2, Art and music. I took guitar lessons for 2 quarters. After 5 years of schooling i found the furry fandom, with the acception of one quarter overlap, where i wore my tail to school. 2 years later i came out to my whole family. with all those experiences, all those options, my passion is problem solving. Not just to give a fish, but to teach how to fish. I really enjoy creating new tools for others to use to make their dreams possible, to make their day easier and to help make sense of the world.

Guess its a good time to mention that the owners of the new place we are living in are a paralegal and a police officer.

This last month has been a difficult one for me. Ive had to find new housing, talk with 2 landlords, arrange repairs and start my own for reimbursements. My car was broken into twice, stealing my cf rear wing, 12in box sub, vent shades, Blankput Memphis 66 USB Mp3 deck and the attached 40gig hdd and they decided to tear up the center console as well. With all that i then had to deal with police and insurance. Then there is a possibility i have to go to court to testify against a possible suspect. This is after my VX got stolen and stripped of its carbon fiber last nov.

Now, i had half my belongings moved over from the old seattlefur house. I go back for another run, only to find that all my plushies around the whole house were turned upside down and all my artwork all over the house was turned upside down, some were damaged and 2 gift artwork commissions were erased from my sketch board, with a 'calling card' of a blue Ace of Spades drawn in their place.

I mean really, WTF. what kind of asshole goes into someone place of living and fucks with the belongs of others? Is this how you thank someone for a year of support? to slap them in the face instead of shaking their paw?

I talked with the other roommates who knew nothing, but thought the whole thing was hilarious, adding their own comments on what they would have done 'better'. This means one thing, that brian's key opened the house and if it was not he himself, it was someone he had with him and he did nothing to stop them from vandalizing my belongings.

This is a shout out of me saing No. Its not ok. This is _way_ past the line of a joke.
Whoever is responsible is no longer welcome in my place of living, or to seattlefurs events.

I started the search cause i have felt different from the rest of the furry fandom for some time now. I thought maybe i was in the wrong place or wrong subculture. I heard this term called "tharian" which first learning how to spell properly, i read up on and compared myself to. After reviewing all the research, i have come to the conclusion that i am not a therian, but rather confirmed my place as a Lifestyler. Seems its common to be shunned and treated differently, even inside the fandom itself. so my focus is now refined, and it has helped me get to know myself a little better.

This is something i ran across that is just astonishingly beautiful. It was created using clips from youtube.

When i was little, my family taught me of a great way to look at things from a different perspective. Seems i had forgotten about it and now would be a good time to try it again.

If i had a magic wand:
I would have brian treat me better. I would have him see that all i have ever done was in the interest of others and the household as a whole. I would have him accept who i was.

I would have someone to work on cars with. I have had a 350$ stereo i got for my black civic when my green one was stolen and totaled, and i still havent installed it.

I would have a group of furries i could hang out with that knew what the word 'love' means, and what its like to care for someone other than themselves.

I would have furs that would call me and ask me if i wanted to come along to something they were doing, that they thought others would enjoy.
